Lionel Samson Sadleirs Groups’ Plantagenet Wines sponsor WA Day
Plantagenet Wines was the proud sponsor of several events during the long weekend festivities.
WA Day marks the founding of the Swan River Colony and is celebrates on the first Monday in June. It is now the focal point for encouraging state-wide participation in a wide range of activities and events that showcase the Western Australian spirit and our many achievements.
WA Day has special significance for our group as Lionel Samson, our founder, arrived on the Barque Calista in 1829 and was part of the establishment of the Swan River Colony.
