Full and part container loads are moved daily via rail between all capital cities. Specifically, Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth are serviced by high-speed Louvre Vans that transport dense LCL freight.
Sadleirs operates transport facilities across Australia, allowing us to offer a combination of daily and express rail services into and out of Western Australia. This provides us with the ability and flexibility to meet our customers’ requirements and evolving needs.
Wherever rail operations occur, shunting is carefully coordinated to ensure the safety of employees and visitors and to maximize efficiency across all locations in any given week.
Sadleirs handles almost 500 containers, 135 rail carriages, and performs more than 8,000 separate freight moves at each location. We also operate dedicated warehouses and handle dangerous and toxic goods as well as quarantine materials.
