You may be aware from media reports that Sadleirs is being sued by a customer over a shipment of silver bullion, part of which was stolen from a sub-contract carrier between Sydney and Melbourne last November.
While we have not yet been served with the writ, we understand the customer is claiming both breach of contract and negligence on our part. We strongly refute the claim.
Sadleirs has a longstanding reputation, built over 127 years of operations, for outstanding customer service built on excellent processes, honesty and diligence.
NSW Police have been investigating the theft and our Company has been cooperating with the investigation and will continue to do so.
